一、领域介绍
       项目管理是一门新兴的管理学科,是一种科学的管理方法。项目管理作为一种通用的管理已被广泛地应用于建设工程、信息工程、制造工程、农业工程、国防工程等工程行业,带来了显著的效益。随着全球经济一体化进程的加快以及新技术革命的发展,项目管理的管理方式和思维模式愈来愈成为企业核心竞争力建设的主要内容。

二、培养目标
       为政府、企业和其他各类组织培养从事项目决策、制定项目计划、执行项目计划、进行项目控制和移交项目成果的专业项目管理人才。
       项目管理领域工程硕士应具备项目论证、评价、选择的有关知识和能力;熟练掌握项目范围管理、时间管理、成本管理、资源管理、沟通管理、风险管理和集成管理的理论与方法,并能够运用这些知识管理实际项目;掌握项目质量管理、人力资源管理和采购管理的知识,能够在实际项目中根据项目的需要,完成这些管理工作,应具备权衡项目目标的能力,应付危机及解决冲突的能力,协商及广泛沟通的能力、领导才能及管理技能。

       项目管理服务的对象范围包括建设工程项目、信息工程项目、制造工程项目、农业工程项目、国防工程项目、服务项目、社会事业项目等相关领域。

Project Management

1. Introduction
       Project Management is a science of management which is relatively new to the management domain. As a general management tool, Project Management is largely applied to construction projects, information system projects, manufacturing projects, agriculture projects, national defense projects, and many other types of projects. Along with the trend of globalization and the advance of new technology, Project Management is increasingly become one of the major concerns of creating a company’s core competency.

2. Program Objectives
       The overall objective of this program is to train management professionals for enterprises and government in the fields of project decision making, project planning, project implementation, project controlling, and project commissioning.
       Graduates of Master of Engineering in Project Management should be competent in project assessing, know theories and methods of scope management, time management, cost management, resource management, communication management, risk management, and integrated management, be knowledgeable in quality management, human resource management, and purchasing management. They should be to handle all of those management work based on the actual project condition and requirements. They should be able to balance trade-offs of project goals, resolve possible project crisis, and well communicate with project shareholders in leading a project to success.
